Your questions, answered
Is Posture Dojo legit?
Yes, in the plain sense: it is a registered business (Posture Dojo LLC) run by a named founder, Sam Miller, who teaches on camera every week and publishes his reasoning openly. You can watch hours of his teaching for free on YouTube before paying anything, and the paid program has a 30-day refund guarantee. Whether it suits your body is a different question. Results vary.
Is Posture Dojo a scam?
No. You pay a monthly or annual membership on Skool, you get live calls, recorded lessons and a community, and you can cancel anytime. If you do the program and don't feel a change for the better within 30 days, you get a full refund. We don't sell it as a cure. If anything about billing goes wrong, write to team@posturedojo.com.
Who is Sam Miller, and is he a doctor?
Sam is the founder. He is not a doctor or a physical therapist. He was diagnosed with scoliosis at 13, was told by a surgeon at 18 that surgery was too risky for him, and has spent about nine years building this method. What he knows comes from living with it, not from clinical training. More about Sam.
Is Syntropic Core medical treatment?
No. It's education and practice. Syntropic Core is neurosomatic education, not medical treatment or advice, and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Consult your physician before beginning, especially with an acute injury, recent surgery, or a diagnosed spinal condition.
Will it straighten my spine?
We don't promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. In the program's own words, it won't straighten bone, and it's never a reason to delay a brace, a surgery, or the check-ups that track a curve. What members commonly report is how their body feels: easier breathing, less pain, sitting or standing with less effort.
How much does it cost?
As of November 2026, the Syntropic Core membership is $57 a month. Annual plans that include a live cohort are offered at set times during the year. Prices change, so check syntropiccore.com for today's numbers.
What is the refund policy?
From the live offer page: “Show up to the live sessions and do the program. If you don't feel a change for the better within 30 days, Sam refunds you in full. You can cancel anytime.”
How is it different from Schroth, physio or chiropractic?
Schroth has the best research evidence for scoliosis curves, and we say so. Most approaches work on muscles and position. Syntropic Core works on how your nervous system organizes posture in the first place: breath, deep-core pressure and your sense of where your body is. We have no trial data comparing them and we don't claim to be better. Many members do both.
Who is it not for?
It isn't a replacement for monitoring, bracing or surgery decisions. If you are a parent of a teenager whose curve is being monitored, have spinal hardware, are pregnant, have a history of cancer, or your curve has changed without new imaging, talk to your clinician first. The full list is on Posture Dojo Research.
Do I need a diagnosis to join?
No. Members include people with diagnosed scoliosis or kyphosis, people with chronic back pain, and people who just notice their posture keeps sliding back. Some members are well into their eighties.
Is it safe? Could it make my back worse?
The practice is mostly breathing, deep-core pressure and paying attention to how your body feels, done at your own pace. It isn't heavy lifting or forcing a position. Some people feel sore in the first days, as with any new way of moving. If something hurts in a way that worries you, stop and check with your clinician. Some situations need a clinician's okay before you start, and they're listed on Posture Dojo Research.
What if I can't make the live times?
Every live session is recorded and posted in the community, so you can watch the replay whenever suits you. The live practice calls run at two different times of day each week, so most time zones can catch one.
Will it stop my curve getting worse?
We don't claim that, and nobody should promise it. Only imaging shows what a curve is doing, so keep the check-ups your doctor recommends. What members describe is how their body feels and works day to day.
Will the results wear off like everything else I tried?
Fair worry, and it's the one the program is built around. Most members arrive after physio, chiro, Schroth or yoga that helped for a while and then didn't stick. Here the practice is a short daily habit, not something done to you. We can't promise it lasts for you. The case studies show, week by week, what carried over into members' days and what didn't.
Am I too old or too stiff to start?
Probably not. Some members are well into their eighties. You start from where your body is now, and nothing asks you to bend into a position you can't reach.
Why does this reviews site exist if Posture Dojo runs it?
Because people search for reviews before they join, and the answers were scattered across Skool, YouTube and our own pages. This puts them in one place and says clearly who wrote it. For reviews we don't control, see the independent sources on this page.
