Posture Dojo reviews
Posture Dojo is the company and community Sam Miller started in 2019 for people with scoliosis, kyphosis and posture patterns that keep coming back. Here is what people say about learning there.
Run by Posture Dojo. Quotes are members' own words with names removed. How we choose them.
What members say
“I have never been able to put my head back in the shower. I have always had to bend forward. So I have been practicing horse stance in the shower for a few weeks and today I have washed and conditioned my hair doing the horse stance.”
A woman, regained the ability to tilt her head back
“DAY 4: I thought about not doing it because of the soreness, but that was the best decision. The pain went away.”
A woman, five-day Posture Reboot
“I had a go at the Transformational Breathwork. Once I just relaxed and let myself be guided by it, wow. I fell asleep towards the end lying on my back. Normally I would be in pain and stiff, but honestly I wasn't like that. I feel energized.”
A woman with scoliosis
“I yawned at least 20 times, not out of tiredness but as if something was being released. My eyes watered a little. But in the end, I felt really very straight and tall.”
A 31-year-old man with scoliosis, first guided meditation
“It's only the third day, but I already feel like it's easier for me to breathe. I can feel my ribs expanding, as if my chest has become wider. I can actually take a deep, full breath.”
A member, day 3 of the Posture Reboot
“For me the castle breath and posture pyramid were huge game changers. Now whenever I feel a kink in my back I try to stretch it from the inside out with breathing rather than just stretching. This has already helped me a lot.”
A man, back tension
“Slowly I feel improvement and release tension in my neck. I'm optimistic and hopeful. I really feel changes in my body.”
A woman with scoliosis, neck pain
“A win for me is that as I focused on relaxing some tension in my low back, there was a point where the tension and pain evaporated.”
A man, low back pain
“I can't believe I can actually breathe into my curve. I am not saying it's easy, but I am sticking with it, at my own pace. So grateful to have found this community who understand the impact on our lives.”
A woman with scoliosis, completed the Posture Reboot three times
“To discover the tool I need to move freely without much pain and stiffness is a new type of freedom. I'll definitely keep castle breath as a new habit I'm addicted to.”
A woman, completed the Posture Reboot
“Posture Dojo Community helped me a lot when I was experiencing shortness of breath and other problems.”
A man, shortness of breath
“Old, painful areas suddenly don't hurt anymore. I feel more upright and aligned, and I can genuinely sense a change in the way my body feels. ... What surprises me most is that these changes actually last beyond the exercises.”
